Gingerbread Houses

Tonight we made Gingerbread houses. Evan's airplane turned out so good. I'm on a sugar high from all of the frosting, my mom makes the best frosting!

Can't hardly wait til Christmas! Evan's parents are coming in from Iowa and we haven't seen them for too long. Avery hasn't even met Opa & Uncle Jay yet. She will love them.

Is there anything better than Christmas?!?

First Halloween

Avery was only 3 weeks old on Halloween and she slept through the entire party but even so, it was her first!

Maverick turned 2 last week! I found this picture of him when he was about 2 months and took the other picture on his b-day. He is HUGE. He got the big bone for his b-day.

Better Late Than Never!

Avery Nicole Gutierrez was born on Saturday October 9th, 2010. Only 2 days late, tho it seemed much longer to us. My water broke around 3am so I showered and got a few things ready before I woke the hubby up. We got to the hospital around 5:45am (we'll skip the details in between) and at 1:58pm Avery was born. She weighed 7.6 lbs and has lots of dark brown hair. She is absolutely adorable, we love her so much!

3 More Days...

Only 3 days until baby girl's due date... but it could very well be another week. Please come soon baby, so I can eat sushi and lay on my stomach! We couldn't be more excited for her to get here.

I vowed I'd never have a blog, facebook or anything like it but now that we're having a baby and her Nana & Opa (Evan's parents) live so far away, I caved.

My mom put a lot of work into her bedding so I have to post some pictures. I'm so happy with the bumper, blanket and diaper stacker. Thanks for all of your hard work, Mom! The nursery is simple and we still need a few things but at least we have the basics.
